On 23rd September 2024, the Chief Minister of Tripura Manik Saha announced the CM-SATH Scheme to financially assist students who have scored good marks in Class 10th & 12th Board. As per Tripura CM SATH Scheme Press Release Notification 2024 PDF, the Top 100 students in the Madhyamik examination will receive this financial assistance for two years and the top 100 students in Higher Secondary will be supported for three years. Overall  200 students from Madhyamik and HS+2 examinations of the Tripura Board of Secondary Education will get the benefit of the CM Sath Scholarship Scheme. The CM SATH 200 Scheme Tripura beneficiaries are selected from different administrative levels, including 152 from the block level, 12 from Nagar Panchayats, 26 from Municipality and 10 from Agartala Municipality. Each scholar will get Rs. 5000 as a monthly stipend. The main objective of the Tripura CM SATH Scheme is to provide economic help to meritorious students who are not able to afford further education. Tripura Education Scheme also targets students belonging to marginalized groups, poor, tribals, women, and minorities.

Budget Allocation of Tripura CM SATH Scheme

Tripura CM Manik Saha also avail the Budget for the Tripura CM-SATH Scheme. As per the Chief Minister, the financial commitment from the state government to provide Tripura CM Sath Scheme Benefits to all scholars has been finalised. Rs. 1.2 crore in the first year, Rs. 2.4 crore in the second year, and Rs. 3 crore annually from the third year onwards will be the expenditure for the scheme.

• Students must be permanent residents of Tripura state.
• Must have passed Madhyamik (Class 10th) Examination or Higher Secondary (Class 12th) with Good Marks.
• Should have completed the Board Class from Tripura Board of Secondary Education.
• Family annual income should be below Rs. 2.5 lakh.
• Student must not be enrolled in any other scholarship.
